The Opportunity:

The Marketing Operations and Engineering team in Growth Marketing and Insights (GMI) handles data architecture, transformation, and engineering for the Growth Marketing and Insights (GMI) under Marketing Org. We manage backend data for marketing measurement tools and processes such as attribution, product and customer segmentation, and lifetime value.

We want an Engineering Lead to manage the data enabling the team's work. You will partner with business analysts and data scientists to outline requirements for new/existing models. You will develop data pipelines, refine ETL processes, ensure data quality, and seek ways to increase efficiency and automation in everyday work. You will take ownership of the data platform behind Adobe's marketing models and other marketing measurement and reporting tools used at all company levels.

What you'll do:

We are seeking a proven contributor who will provide support in data engineering, building data assets, and software applications. This individual should be able to provide technical direction and system architecture advice for individual initiatives.

  • You will collaborate with key partners and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Process including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, and Build.
  • You will play a meaningful role in building high-level design artifacts.
  • You will also deliver high-quality code work for a module, lead validation for all types of testing, and support activities related to implementation and transition.
  • Take charge of reorganizing the database to more effectively serve data scientists and business analysts throughout the marketing organization.
  • Scope requirements, connect data sources and build ETL processes to support new products and routes to market as the team expands campaign measurement products/models for Adobe's B2C and B2B business units.
  • Partner with Marketing, Finance, and Sales teams to maintain data integrity and perform root cause analysis when discrepancies arise in the data.
What you'll need to succeed:
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience with 8+ years of data engineering experience.
  • Proven expertise in SQL, Python, Spark, and data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt).
  • Experience with CursorAI or similar platforms for intelligent data workflows and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-based analytics environments such as Databricks.
  • Experience collaborating with Data Scientists and BI Engineers to provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical collaborators.
  • Experience and passion for data-driven development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Background in supporting agile marketing or growth teams is a plus.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $139,000 -- $257,550 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
