The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Shares accountability for the Central Sterile Serivce/Processing Department. Assists in defining, planning, developing, implementing and evaluating the philosophy, mission and objectives of the designated area of responsibility. Ensures the optimal delivery of service to all units in an environment that promotes development and continues to assure financial viability. The primary goal is to the delivery of competent, effective services. Provides leadership for staff of central processing. Implements strategies to maintain quality levels of service and physician/employee/customer satisfaction. Ensures compliance to AAMI Standards.

Qualification

Required:

  • Completion of an approved Central Service Technician Training Courses 2 years prior
  • Supervisory experience and 5 years Central Service experience
  • Requires a recognized Central Sterile Leadership Certification

  • The primary goal is to the delivery of competent effective services
  • Provides leadership for staff of central processing Implements strategies to maintain quality levels of service and physician employee customer satisfaction
  • Ensures compliance to AAMI Standards Insure that unit department division is in compliance with all applicable policies laws and regulations
