Get to Know Your Team:

  • BSA Harrington Cancer Center is a state-of-the-art, 48,000-square-foot facility with two new linear accelerators for radiation treatments, 24 patient exam rooms, 28 heated chemotherapy infusion chairs and three private infusion rooms for families.

Responsibilities

  • The Radiation Oncology Manager is responsible for the leadership and day-to-day management of the Radiation Oncology department.
  • This individual will oversee clinical operations, staffing, compliance, and quality assurance while continuing to perform the full scope of clinical dosimetry duties.
  • The role ensures optimal patient care through safe, efficient, and effective radiation treatment planning and delivery, while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Associate degree.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

  • Texas State MRT License.
  • Medical Dosimetry Certification by MDCB.
  • 5 years of leadership experience.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Prior leadership experience in both diagnostic imaging and radiation oncology settings.
  • Advanced ARRT credentials (e.g., CT, MRI, Mammography, or Radiation Therapy).
  • Familiarity with Epic, PACS, and Aria.
  • Strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., The Joint Commission and ACR Accreditation)
