MTSI is seeking a
Mission Integration Team (MIT) Program Manager to provide programmatic leadership and integration support across complex Air Force mission integration efforts. This role is responsible for synchronizing technical, schedule, and stakeholder activities across engineering teams, program offices, and external partners to ensure mission-level integration objectives are met. The MIT Program Manager enables alignment across modeling, testing, integration, and delivery activities in a fast-paced acquisition environment.
By providing structure, visibility, and leadership, this role enables the successful delivery of integrated mission capabilities while reducing risk and improving decision-making across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary program manager supporting Mission Integration Team (MIT) activities.
- Coordinate planning, execution, and tracking of mission integration efforts across multiple technical teams and stakeholders.
- Manage cost, schedule, performance, and risk for MIT initiatives; identify issues early and drive resolution.
- Integrate activities across modeling, simulation, digital engineering, test, and system integration teams.
- Ensure mission-level objectives, dependencies, and interfaces are clearly defined and understood across participating organizations.
- Support integration of multiple systems, platforms, and capabilities within a mission context.
- Act as the central coordination point between government customers, engineering leads, and contractor teams.
- Prepare and deliver briefings, status updates, and decision support materials for senior leadership.
- Facilitate working groups, technical interchange meetings (TIMs), and planning sessions to maintain alignment.
- Develop and maintain integrated master schedules (IMS), action trackers, and risk registers.
- Apply Agile or hybrid program management approaches to improve execution, transparency, and delivery cadence.
- Drive continuous process improvement across MIT workflows and coordination mechanisms.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of PM experience supporting mission systems integration, mission engineering, modeling and simulation, or operations analysis efforts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience briefing technical content to senior leadership
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, "tip of the spear" environment
- Strong willingness to learn, execute, and solve complex mission-critical problems
Desired
- Experience supporting mission integration, digital engineering, modeling & simulation, or test programs.
- Familiarity with acquisition processes and mission-level integration constructs.
- Experience managing integrated schedules, risks, and dependencies across large teams.
- Knowledge of Agile frameworks or Lean execution methods in a government environment.
Clearance and Travel Requirements:
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- This position supports a Special Access Program (SAP) and requires work in a vault/SCIF environment
