Posting Summary	Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate for the department of Neurosurgery at the New Jersey Medical School. The Department of Neurosurgery is seeking a graduate of a MD or PhD program preferably with a background in basic sciences, particularly in skull-based Neurosurgery. This individual will work under the supervision of Dr Anil Nanda. Among the key duties of this position are the following: Review ongoing research protocols for the Neurosurgery department and for publication purposes. Review and edit recorded surgeries for future teaching purposes. Develop new proposals for research-related neurosurgery. Present at research meetings and educational conferences/grand rounds held within the department. Provide regular updates to the editorial staff regarding the status of manuscripts in preparation.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience	MD or Ph.D. in biomedical sciences or related disciplines. Minimum of two (2) years of experience with high throughput sequencing and structural biology. Background in skull-based neurosurgery.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities	The candidate must be highly motivated with evidence of productivity. Individuals must also possess strong writing skills, be well organized and can think independently
