Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate for the department of Neurosurgery at the New Jersey Medical School.
The Department of Neurosurgery is seeking a graduate of a MD or PhD program preferably with a background in basic sciences, particularly in skull-based Neurosurgery. This individual will work under the supervision of Dr Anil Nanda.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Review ongoing research protocols for the Neurosurgery department and for publication purposes.
- Review and edit recorded surgeries for future teaching purposes.
- Develop new proposals for research-related neurosurgery.
- Present at research meetings and educational conferences/grand rounds held within the department.
- Provide regular updates to the editorial staff regarding the status of manuscripts in preparation.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- MD or Ph.D. in biomedical sciences or related disciplines.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience with high throughput sequencing and structural biology.
- Background in skull-based neurosurgery.
