The Role:

The Technical Implementation Consultant is responsible for requirements gathering, implementation, and system testing of web-based talent management systems. You will work closely with Educe clients to define technical requirements and support data migration, system integrations, and platform configurations, including validation, testing, and troubleshooting. This role involves supporting integration and user acceptance testing, resolving interoperability issues across web platforms. You will provide post-implementation support as clients bring users onto new or enhanced system features by translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for a variety of stakeholders.

The Responsibilities:

The position involves working closely with clients and
colleagues to do the following:

  • Gather and define technical requirements to meet business processes and system needs.
  • Analyze and document technical design specifications.
  • Lead clients through data migration efforts including data validation, error resolution, and data verification.
  • Support user acceptance testing efforts by assisting with test execution and responding quickly to issues that arise as a result of testing.
  • Lead clients through integration efforts including system connectivity, data transfer, unit testing, and integration testing.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of Educe's internal tools, processes, and infrastructure.

Technical Expertise:

Ideal applicants hold the following technical expertise:

  • Web services and integrations, including RESTful and SOAP-based APIs, webhooks, and JSON-based data exchange.
  • Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies, including SAML and encryption standards such as AES.
  • Cloud-based application configuration and environment management.
  • Experience working with APIs for system integrations, including authentication, data exchange, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of data management concepts and relational databases, including SQL, HRIS platforms, and cloud-based software systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot web applications, including browser behavior, settings, and connectivity issues.
  • Experience integrating data across multiple platforms using ETL processes and data transformation techniques.
  • Experience with iPaaS platforms such as Workato, MuleSoft, or Boomi.
  • Experience with Docebo is a plus.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

  • Professional experience aligned with the technical competencies outlined above, including exposure to APIs, web services, and system integrations.
  • Experience working with enterprise or cloud-based software applications.
  • Ability to build, configure, and troubleshoot automated workflows, ensuring reliable data flow between systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research, evaluate, document, and resolve technical issues.
  • Ability to translate business and user needs into clear requirements, working directly with customers and internal consultants to support testing, implementation, and training.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to high-quality deliverables and follow-through.
  • Strong attention to detail and a solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Comfort presenting and facilitating discussions with client stakeholders, including senior leaders.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or Talent Management Systems (preferred).

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Ability to travel to multiple client locations and semi-annual firm meetings.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000
This job is 100% REMOTE, or can be based in our Bethesda, MD headquarters or New York office.

The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
