Who We Are We are Tennis! The USTA (United States Tennis Association) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis and the leader in promoting and developing the sport's growth on every level in the United States, from local communities to the crown jewel of the professional game, the US Open. The RoleThe Video Services Intern will support the USTA Video Services department in creating high-quality content for various organizational needs, with a strong focus on social media and public relations-driven video pieces. This role offers hands-on exposure to professional-grade equipment and production environments. By the end of the internship, the goal is for the intern to serve as a key contributor on at least one full video shoot and one full edit. The intern will assist with metadata organization, gear management, content research, basic editing, and field production support. This is an excellent opportunity for a developing videographer/editor to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced sports media environment.
    Tag and catalog media using proper metadata standards
  • Research and gather assets, including information, footage, photos, and musicPerform basic editing, footage pulls, and assembly cuts
  • Assist on field shoots in roles ranging from production assistant to camera operator
  • Help maintain and organize video, audio, and lighting equipment
  • Provide occasional light clerical support related to video production workflows
Program details:
  • 8-week program from June 9 through August 11
  • Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM ET
  • Hybrid role requiring 2-3 days per week on-site at our Westchester office.
  • Compensation: $20.00 per hour
Who You Are
  • Working knowledge to advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro and Photoshop
  • Familiarity with cameras (Canon, Panasonic, GoPro preferred), audio equipment, and basic lighting setups
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow technical and creative skillsAble to take direction, collaborate with a team, and adapt in fast-paced production environments
  • Passionate about video production, storytelling, and creating engaging content
