The Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Analyst serves as the on-site liaison between the operations management team and the Information Technology team and plays a role of a super user in the utilization of the system. They would be responsible for day-to-day system maintenance and troubleshooting. First point of contact for assistance, questions, issues, training others, etc. at the operations level. Work with Operations teams, IT, and Engineering groups to ensure optimal configurations for WMS conversions, enhancements, and new business requirements.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties:



  • Expert knowledge of Blue Yonder WMS from an operational perspective; Able to data mine, conduct investigations, make adjustments, troubleshoot problems, and develop best practices.
  • Educating end users with regards to functionality of the technology onsite while providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Document and communicate problem resolutions. Keep up to date on current issues across the Blue Yonder- WMS environment.
  • Identify and drive WMS improvements and represent the business in future development work
  • Serve as a liaison between IT and the site team on WMS issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve support requests related to the WMS or any related interfaces or ancillary systems.
  • Responsible for project development and implementation to develop, implement and monitors sites performance systematically.
  • Develops, maintains, and ensures clear and effective documentation of WMS processes and procedures. This includes general SOP's as well as customer specific processes at the site level.
  • Responsible for all sign on requests (i.e., user access requests, Profiles, system issues), follow ups, and associated troubleshooting.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



  • Able to train and support end users with continuous process improvement; monitor end user performance and determining ongoing training needs.
  • Able to coach and motivate end users through effective communication, demonstrating abilities to introduce efficiencies.
  • Excellent time management, communications, decision-making, organization, human relations, presentation, negotiation, and mediation skills
  • Detail oriented and excellent analytical skills
  • Proficient computer skills, experience in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint


Minimum Requirements:



  • College Degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a warehouse management system subject matter expert supporting Blue Yonder in a distribution environment.
  • Proven relevant knowledge of Supply Chain, plant and/or warehouse operations.



The salary range for this position is between $62,000-$78,000/annually depending on experience and location
