Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol utility locations, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal, providing customer service to all individuals at the utility location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as required.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the utility facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches of protocols.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to established procedures.
• Assist with emergency response activities and coordinate with local authorities and/or emergency personnel when necessary.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter criminal activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Handcuff, pepper spray, and baton experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
