AbouttheRole: Our client is hiring an Assistant Accounting Manager to lead core accounting functions, supervise a team of accounting professionals, and support accurate financial reporting and operational effectiveness. This position plays a key role in overseeing close activities, evaluating financial results, and strengthening accounting processes. This role is based onsite in Mooresville, NC. KeyResponsibilities: Lead and oversee an accounting team to ensure timely, accurate processing of financial activities requiring technical accounting judgment Coach, train, and review team deliverables to strengthen accounting knowledge and maintain high-quality financial reporting Perform and oversee financial analysis and balance sheet reconciliations supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close in accordance with US GAAP Review financial transactions, identify issues, and determine appropriate accounting treatments and resolutions Manage special projects and non-routine accounting matters to support accurate financial results and audit readiness Partner cross-functionally to resolve audit inquiries, improve processes, and promote a culture of continuous improvement Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field(Accounting preferred). 3+ years ofaccounting experience. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial controls. CPA preferred. Cost accounting experience preferred.
