Job Summary:

The Senior Corporate Recruiter is responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment efforts across the organization, with a focus on sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent in the construction industry. This role partners closely with business leaders to develop recruitment strategies, manage requisition loads, and provide mentorship and guidance to the recruiting team. The Senior Recruiter plays a critical role in building a pipeline of skilled talent to meet ACCO's current and future workforce needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following responsibilities are accomplished through close collaboration with hiring managers, HR leadership, Recruiting Coordinators, and external partners.

The Senior Recruiter serves as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in recruitment, ensuring ACCO attracts, hires, and retains top talent to meet current and future business needs. This role requires balancing strategic workforce planning with hands-on execution of full cycle recruiting while modeling leadership, mentorship, and best practices for the recruiting team.

Full-cycle Recruitment - In charge of recruitment for various positions across the organization, including utilizing proactive sourcing techniques and HCM, screening, interviewing, and offer management. This will help lower our use of third-party agencies.

Recruitment Strategy - Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent within the construction industry.

Hiring Collaboration - Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, selection criteria, and recruitment processes.

Mentorship and Training - Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to Recruiting Coordinators to ensure best practices are followed.

Agency and Vendor Management - Manage relationships with external staffing agencies and vendors to support hiring needs as appropriate.

Metrics and Analytics - Track and analyze key recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, pipeline health) to evaluate effectiveness.

Compliance - Maintain compliance with all legal, regulatory, and organizational hiring policies and practices.

Workforce Planning - Partner with HR leadership to support workforce planning initiatives and succession planning.

Leadership and Facilitation - Lead team meetings and be able to come up and lead other trainings for recruiters to strengthen knowledge sharing and alignment.

Employer Branding - Promote ACCO's employer brand through networking, industry events, and community engagement.

Position Requirements (Work Experience, Skills, Licenses, etc.):

Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in the construction or mechanical contracting industry.

Strong knowledge of recruiting best practices, employment law, and compliance requirements.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and requisitions in a fast-paced environment.

Proven experience building strong relationships with hiring managers and business leaders.

Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Additional Skills/Abilities Preferred, but Not Required:

At least 5 years of recruitment experience within the construction space.

Leadership and mentorship experience with demonstrated success in developing team members.

Experience with advanced sourcing tools and strategies to identify passive candidates.

Job Responsibility Level:

People Manager with direct reports

Travel Requirements:

0 - 10% of the time to regional offices in both regions and corporate headquarters. Some overnight travel per business needs.

Hours:

This is an exempt position. Workdays are scheduled from Monday through Friday. Typically, work hours begin and end between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm as scheduled with the position's supervisor. Occasional overtime may be necessary for business needs.

Physical Demands:

Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Prolonged sitting.

Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.

Occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch.

Competitive Wages:

$88,000 to $116,600 annually. Applicants please note that actual compensation is determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location, among others. The offered wage or salary is only one aspect of an employee's total compensation.
