Your Opportunity: Venture Solutions is looking for a Business Data Analyst. The Business Data Analyst is responsible for understanding the workings of multiple web platforms and the specifics of those platform's integration with multiple client systems. This role supports and understands development efforts to implement changes in the web platforms intended to enhance functionality and/or business efficiencies facilitating this work with heavy reliance on team based processes. Will operate in a fast-paced agile working environment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Review, analyze and evaluate impacts of development requests
  • Assist Tech Leads in defining and documenting development tasks and accompanying acceptance criteria / quality Assurant requirements
  • Interface with development teams during the sprint cycle providing consultation and clarifications as needed
  • Perform acceptance testing of work produced by development teams prior to making these changes available to the client
  • Oversee and manage the code promotion process through various server environments
  • Interface with both internal and client business owners to identify issues and obtain clarification/direction
  • Manage reporting of sprint status to stakeholders via updating sprint task boards
  • Data entry and task completion to support web property set up and maintenance
  • Assist in the development of documentation for new functionality and procedures

You Must Have:

  • Good project management skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt easily as procedure and/or business needs change
  • Skilled at utilizing dotted line relationships to influence behaviors and accomplish objectives
  • Able to escalate and make problems visible to facilitate completion of initiatives and commitments
  • SQL knowledge will be useful
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as TFS or Jira will be useful
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology will be useful

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $60,000-62,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employee.
