The Vendor Management Office (VMO) is responsible for the strategic delivery of driving vendor resource needs globally, delivering on all aspects of the vendor management lifecycle. The responsibilities include but not limited to working closely with FedEx management across the different divisions in understanding the needs and challenges working with vendors, improving the experience, contract initiation, negotiation, project/scrum management and vendor compliance and governance. The ideal candidate will represent business owners' needs in Vendor Management, ensuring adherence to all policies, processes and procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Preferred Qualifications: Experience implementing or managing global VMS or working with vendor resources in a VMO. Deep knowledge of vendor resource management systems, international program management, and global compliance. Strong time-sensitive program management and communication skills to coordinate global cross-functional teams. Proficient in metrics and Excel to drive data-informed decisions and continuous improvement. However, may be located anywhere within the US excluding AK, HI and US territories.Depending on your location, you may be required to work at a campus location.
