Position Title: Mortgage Loan Servicer 3 Summary: The Mortgage Loan Servicer will perform a wide range of operational duties, ensuring timely completion and compliance with established internal standards and external regulations to address mortgage loan maintenance and servicing functions. This position works under the broad supervision of the Mortgage Servicing Supervisor. Responsible for providing exceptional service while performing mortgage loan support services including but not limited to assisting customers with questions, processing routine transactions and clerical duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Make the complex simple when communicating with customers via phone, in person or in writing. 2. Process member transactions such as payments, escrow disbursements and refunds. 3. Process member service requests such as address changes, automatic payments and general research. 4. Adheres to quality standards for consistent, high quality service. 5. Responsible for ensuring adequate insurance coverage requirements are met and tax escrows are up to date and accurate. Works with vendors to mitigate issues as appropriate. 6. Reviews and processes PMI waiver requests in accordance with investor guidelines. Processes monthly PMI terminations. 7. Reviews reports for adjustable rate mortgages to ensure future rate and payment changes are correct. 8. Prepare lien releases on paid in full loans and evaluate partial release requests. 9. Prepare mortgage loan modifications and maintenance servicing system accordingly. 10. Assist in creating and reviews of escrow batch reports for annual and short year analysis. 11. Analyze data sets and derive actionable insight 12. Assist customers with disbursement of insurance loss claims paid to customers for damages. 13. Provide support to other functions within the department. Minimum Qualifications: Education* High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience * Five to eight year(s) of mortgage, and or Title Company or related work experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Strong interpersonal communication skills. * Assumes responsibility for achieving results. * Proven ability to diagnose and identify customers' banking issues and needs. * Proven passion for accuracy and effective time management. * Serves as a resource to customers, prospective customers, and employees.* Proven ability to build collaborative and productive relationships in the branch. * Working knowledge of relevant software including Microsoft Office, Word and Excel. * Proven Knowledge of regulatory rules and requirements including but not limited to FNMA, and FHA. * This position requires face-to-face interaction in person or by telephone and e-mail with customers, clients, and vendors. * Fluency in English and Spanish a plus.
