Position Summary

The Sr Director, Strategic Programs and Initiatives is responsible for managing the logistical implementation of all new products, the regulatory process for submission of new or existing products and the resources related to the accomplishment of these goals. Role also owns governance and structure for cross functional enterprise initiatives that span across the L&W product footprint.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Leads cross functional strategic initiatives, programs and projects across the L&W enterprise

  • Key focal point to provide Project Management structure to enterprise quality maturity across the L&W product footprint

  • Runs initiatives for Central Quality, Omnichannel and Product Quality for PMO team

  • Oversees the flow of all L&W products from cradle to grave

  • Provides logistical coordination across multiple departments for products coming through the Development lifecycle

  • Removes all obstacles and impediments to Quality related issues to improve financial results

  • Provides support for all processes and procedures for key corporate Quality initiatives

  • Supervises the work performed by other departments working with products and initiatives

  • Tracks project expenses, budgets, and timelines; reports information back to management

  • Works directly with customers and other customer requests when needed

  • Provides support for other customer facing departments related to issues they are having with fielded product

  • Responsible for oversight of Regulatory submissions on all parts needed for over 200 jurisdictions on all product lines

  • Works with other departments on the rollout of new and existing products, processes and SOP

  • Assists other members of the department and provides support to all other stakeholders on an as needed basis

  • Performs other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Requires 15+ years of Project management experience, gaming preferred

    • Requires 10+ years supervisory / management experience

    • Extensive experience at managing Product lifecycles, Quality initiatives and major customer or corporate driven projects

    • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage multiple projects and tasks related to financial results and project goals

    • Proven track record of effective leadership and management combined with an innovative and market-driven approach

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

    • Demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Outlook

    • Knowledge of all ERP tools and Product Release systems

    • Ability to multi-task and juggle 10-30 projects per month

    • Effective problem solving skills

    • Ability to deal with internal issues and problem solve quickly with little to no supervision

    • Analytical thinker, strategic planner and excellent Time Management skills

    • Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and customers at all levels including top level management

    • Knowledge of all L&W product lines, policies, and procedures

    • Highly developed organizational skills

    • Strong written and oral communication skills

    • Project management skills
