JOB TITLE: Senior Data Scientist

LOCATION: 1 Health Drive, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)

DUTIES: Develop and implement a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software. Apply knowledge of health care database management to analyze clinical data, and to identify and report trends. Duties include: Architect and oversee the development of sophisticated models, advanced techniques, and comprehensive analytics applications to convert raw data into actionable intelligence, utilizing cutting-edge programming languages and visualization software; Lead and mentor a team of analysts to provide strategic analytic leadership, supporting Government Program reporting, advanced analytics, strategic planning, and process improvements; Collaborate closely with senior business leaders and stakeholders to develop innovative, high-impact analytic solutions addressing complex business challenges and driving organizational success; Generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations to enhance decision-making and optimize performance, ensuring Government Operations achieve their strategic objectives; Facilitate a flexible work environment by enabling telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S., ensuring seamless collaboration and productivity across dispersed teams; and Serve as the primary technical and data analysis authority for Government Operations leadership and operational staff, providing expert guidance and strategic insights to drive data-driven decision-making. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a Data -related occupation. Position requires two (2) years of experience in the following:

* Medicaid and Medicare claims, encompassing financial, regulatory, and encounter data;
* Interpreting and analyzing data across various healthcare management modules within TriZetto Facets.
* Designing and planning data analytic environments, perform comprehensive analytics, and deliver robust data integration solutions;
* Reporting methodologies using tools such as Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Talend, Tableau, and Power BI.
* Conducting comprehensive data exploration, rigorous validation, advanced optimization, and meticulous troubleshooting by crafting intricate queries using Stored Procedures, User-Defined Functions, Cursors, Inner and Outer Joins, Subqueries, Nested Subqueries, and Correlated Subqueries;
* Ensuring efficient data retrieval, manipulation, and integrity across complex relational database systems;
* Architecting and optimize intricate data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to orchestrate seamless data flows;
* Talend, Crystal Reports, SAS, SSIS, and SSRS, along with advanced skills in Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Power BI, and Tableau for data integration and analytics; and
* Designing dashboards and reports with tools like Power BI and Tableau to communicate complex data trends.

RATE OF PAY: $112,300 - $218,295 / per year
