The Professional Science Master's Program (
PSM) is seeking applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track (
NTT) Assistant Teaching Professor specializing in Accounting and Finance. This is one year position, beginning January 2026, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and continued funding. The position carries a 3-1-3 teaching load (spring, summer, fall).
The successful candidate will teach core and elective courses in accounting, managerial finance, financial analysis, budgeting, and related areas that support
PSM students pursuing careers in industry. In addition to instruction, the faculty member may contribute to advising, alumni relations, program development, and student support.
Responsibilities Include:
- Teaching graduate-level accounting and finance courses and providing timely, constructive feedback to support student learning and academic progress.
- Developing, redesigning, and updating curricula at the graduate and continuing education levels, including traditional, hybrid, and fully online formats.
- Leading the development and delivery of new courses and training modules, ensuring relevance to current industry standards and regulatory environments.
- Conducting research on teaching and learning to apply best pedagogical practices in course design and delivery.
- Incorporating innovative instructional strategies and applied learning opportunities that prepare students for real-world professional environments.
- Supporting outreach efforts and helping to strengthen connections with employers, industry partners, and alumni.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Applicants must have a master's degree in a related field and at least three years teaching experience.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, instructional design, and pedagogical best practices.
- Experience with online or hybrid teaching platforms is strongly preferred.
- Professional experience in accounting, finance, or related industries is a plus.
