About the Role

The Architect I is a technical architect role focused on designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions within the Microsoft 365 platform. Under the guidance of senior architects, this position supports projects involving M365 Copilot, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive for Business, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and documentation of M365 solutions, including Copilot integrations, SharePoint site structures, Teams collaboration frameworks, and OneDrive storage strategies.
  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into preliminary technical designs.
  • Support configuration, customization, migration, and deployment activities within Microsoft 365 workloads.
  • Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to ensure solutions meet compliance, governance, and performance standards.
  • Contribute to architecture diagrams, governance documentation, and user enablement materials.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to M365 applications and integrations.
  • Stay current with Microsoft 365 roadmap updates, new features, and industry best practices, especially around AI capabilities in M365 Copilot.

What We're Looking For

  • Education - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience - 4-5 years working with Microsoft 365 workloads in a technical or administrative capacity.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Basic understanding of M365 administration, governance, and security concepts.
    • Familiarity with SharePoint Online site creation and content management.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams configuration and lifecycle management.
    • Awareness of OneDrive for Business synchronization and sharing controls.
    • Experience with AI-powered productivity tools such as M365 Copilot.
    • Secondary skills (nice to have some limited knowledge of): Power Platform and Purview
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under guidance and adapt to evolving technologies.

Salary Range - $120,000 - $140,000
