About This Role

The CIMA Program/Project Associate will collaborate with CIMA Project Directors to ensure the completion of project reports, deliverables, services, and materials for the federally funded CIMA projects. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in an environment with frequent phone and online interaction and be able to complete assignments on time without extensive supervision. They should also be able to interact well while maintaining a professional demeanor. The role involves providing administrative and logistical support to the CIMA Executive Director and Project Directors, managing CIMA activities involving stakeholders, scheduling meetings and websites, organizing and designing reports, tools, and resources for CIMA projects, preparing and sending correspondence to CIMA collaborators and partners, and creating or updating presentation materials as needed for CIMA.

Worksite Description

This position is on-site. This role is expected to be performed on-site approximately five half days a week.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.


What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and two years of relevant experience.
  • Requirements may be met through a combination of education and experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in educational contexts.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Proficient in basic technology applications including Microsoft Office.

Sponsorship eligibility:

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
