We are seeking a Secret cleared Systems Administrator to support Postproduction Software Support (PPSS) and Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS) engineering and technical services to the CECOM Software Engineering Center Mission Command Division with operations located at Ft. Sill/Lawton, OK.

We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator with expertise in VMware virtualization and Linux systems to join our system administrator team. You will be responsible for the daily administration, patching, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of our VMware vSphere and Linux environments.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain, and optimize VMware vSphere administration (ESXi, vCenter) 8.x environments

  • Manage lifecycle of VMware infrastructure: upgrades, patching and cluster maintenance

  • Perform day-to-day Linux systems administration on RHEL 8/9

  • Build, deploy, patch, and harden Linux servers (physical and virtual) following STIG benchmarks and internal security standards

  • Automate repetitive tasks using Ansible

  • Perform capacity planning and performance analysis for both VMware and Linux environments

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures

  • Full lifecycle management of Red Hat Satellite Server

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT/Cybersecurity/Computer Science and up to 2 years of experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Active and current DoD Secret clearance.

  • Active CompTIA Certifications including Security+.

  • Technical knowledge in one of the following areas: System Administration, computer applications, and security operations.

  • Experienced with VMware vCenter environments.

  • Expertise of Windows and Red Hat Linux environments.

  • Ability to develop cybersecurity documentation.

  • Ability to work at customer site in Ft Sill, OK (no telework).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with U.S. Army Field Artillery tactical systems or other DoD systems.

  • Familiarity with EMASS and the RMF Process.
