ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Organizes and coordinates inventory and continuously verifies the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders
  • Examines and verifies product information by recording specific data to the warehouse location
  • Completes pick ticket and other documentation then forwards to assigned point of contact
  • Pack customer orders for delivery to customers, in a safe manner that minimizes damage or errors
  • Assures quality by examining products for wear or damage and reports any damage to the Warehouse Supervisor
  • Pulls from product inventory to complete orders and may also create other documentation to validate product condition
  • Operates a clean and safe work environment, ensuring that all areas of the warehouse are well maintained, kept orderly and free of debris.
  • Maintains quality standards set forth by warehouse management.
  • Adheres to all safety guidelines; takes appropriate precautions to ensure property and materials are not damaged.
  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and expected standards of behavior.
  • Completes other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Education - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge/Experience/Skills

    • Must be able to read, write, and understand basic English
    • Basic math, counting, and computer abilities
    • Strong communication skills
    • Demonstrate initiative, self-starter, reliability, follow thru, and teamwork skills




PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:


  • Ability to stand, sit, squat, crawl, bend, twist, and/or kneel for up to 12-hour periods of time and repetitively
  • Capability to navigate through narrow, confined spaces
  • Work near or on top of sloping, uneven, and/or slippery surfaces
  • Exposure to varying temperatures
  • Possible exposure to areas with high noise levels that may require hearing protection
  • Use hands and fingers to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights.
  • Utilize muscles to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
