A Brief Overview
The Director Automation Center of Excellence (ACoE) will be responsible for building and leading a team to evangelize automation throughout the enterprise. The team will develop and execute automation strategy and lead implementation efforts to advocate for automation throughout the business.

The department works 80% remotely, 20% on site in our Philadelphia offices.

What you will do

  • Leads the Automation ACoE - forms and manages the automation team, oversees long-term strategy
  • Promotes and advocates for the adoption of automation solutions about the benefits and opportunities that automation can bring to businesses and society
  • Implements automation vision to spread automation throughout the workforce
  • Develops metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support automation program
  • Drives automation pipeline by prioritizing use-cases based on business objectives and return of investment
  • Leads standardization/optimization of operating practices across the automation program
  • Ensures adequate controls are in place to support and guardrail automation program
  • Advocates & educates the business on the spectrum of Intelligent Automation technologies and manages top-down and bottoms-up ideation efforts
  • Remains informed of trends in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Process Mining, APIs, AI (artificial intelligence), Generative AI, and ML (Machine Learning)

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer science, computer/software engineering, information technology or similar field of study. Required
  • Master's Degree Computer science, computer/software engineering, information technology or similar field of study. Preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • At least twelve (12) years Demonstrating responsibility in Enterprise Improvement roles Required

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong technical experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC), solution design and architecture, complex application integrations, and data conversion (Required proficiency)
  • Experience in managing a cross-disciplined team and working in a highly matrix environment across many different functional areas and IT leadership (Required proficiency)
  • A deep understanding of the current and emerging trends, challenges, and best practices in automation technology (RPA, Process Mining, APIs, AI, Generative AI, and ML) (Required proficiency)
  • A strong communicator to effectively communicate to different audiences. Have strong skills in creating compelling content, delivering presentations, and organizing events that showcase the value and impact of automation technology (Required proficiency)
  • Demonstrated experience in building and sustaining effective relationships with diverse groups and levels of the organizations (Required proficiency)
  • Strong problem solving and business analysis experience including development of business case / value propositions (Required proficiency)
  • Demonstrated superior organizational redesign experience. Demonstrated experience successfully implementing change in complex organization (Required proficiency)

SALARY RANGE:

$100,000.00 - $375,000.00 Annually

Salary ranges are shown for full-time jobs. If you're working part-time, your pay will be adjusted accordingly.
