This position will be based in Springfield, TN.

All About the Role:

We are looking for an EMC engineer be part of the EMC laboratory team, in the context of the EMC&NVH organization, with the opportunity to collaborate on challenging assignments. The requested person has responsibility to test Food Preparation appliances, reuse or develop EMC solutions if necessary, and produce documentation and test reports, according to constraints of quality and time.

You will have the chance to build solid competence in EMC regulation, instruments, and procedures, in a state-of-the-art laboratory. On top of that, you will have opportunity to work in an R&D department of a multinational company that has ambition to "shape living for better".

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute EMC tests according to test plans.
  • Operate with EMC instruments.
  • Create Test Reports according to the approved workflow.
  • Maintain laboratory instruments calibration and lab certification.
  • Build, test, analyze, and troubleshoot prototype electronic circuits, parts (including electronic controls), and appliances to research and develop product features/functions.
  • Be able to diagnose and locate circuit, component, and equipment faults, followed by appropriate corrective action to address product emissions and immunity issues.
  • Create, update and maintain the test setups according to international and internal standards.
  • Perform design/development experiments that may require non-standard procedures and complex instrumentation (e.g., oscilloscopes, ESD, EFT, RIV, REF) when required.
  • Coordinate ordering and tracking of incoming/outcoming components
  • Team spirit and communication skills, share information with group.
  • Basic knowledge of Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC), standards and instruments.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and understand electrical and electronic schematics.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Electronic/Electric Engineering or equivalent field of study
  • 0-3 years working experience.
