Responsibilities Contribute directly to development efforts in C++, C#, Python, and Java Oversee multiple programs simultaneously-no siloed projects Drive rapid prototyping and fast-paced development cycles Collaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure product integration Utilize Microsoft Azure DevOps for CI/CD and project tracking Delegate effectively while staying hands-on with technical challenges Support growth initiatives, especially in the expanding munitions sector Ensure all work adds value-no filler, no bureaucracy Requirements U.S. Citizenship (USC) and eligibility for a security clearance 10-15 years of experience in software engineering, with leadership roles Strong background in real-time systems, Linux, RTOS, and VxWorks Experience in defense-related software: weapons, munitions, navigation Comfortable working in a fast-paced, lean environment Must be able to work full-time onsite (core hours: M-F, 8am-3pm) Prefer candidates with 5-10+ years left in their career-not near retirement Open to contract-to-hire (CTH) or direct hire depending on candidate preference Skills C++, C#, Python, Software development, Agile, Weapons System, Thin Client Top Skills Details C++,C#,Python,Software development,Agile Additional Skills & Qualifications Preferred Background Candidates from smaller, agile companies with experience in rapid prototyping are highly attractive.
