As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol Driver in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a dynamic tech and media location. In this primarily driving post, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication. As part of our agile and innovative team, you will contribute to a people-first culture and uphold integrity while delivering reliable security-related services throughout your shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors and employees with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
• Work closely with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives to address security-related concerns as needed.
• Adhere to all company and client site protocols, policies, and procedures while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
