Equipment Operator: Operates equipment and machinery used for processes such as packaging, bindery, finishing and print production not requiring highly specialized training or certifications. May do setups, adjustments and cleanups. At higher levels may include equipment with multiple inline processes. Operates equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines. Reads and interprets work orders, blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery. Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, within quality guidelines and in a timely fashion. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May have to complete formal training in area of specialty with no to minimal prior experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager. Previous experience: none Schedule/Shift: Saturday and Sunday 5am- 1:30 possibility 10 hr. shift. The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
