Reporting to: President of Manufacturing

Department: Manufacturing

JOB SUMMARY

The Continuous Improvement Analyst uses data-driven methods like Lean and SIxSigma to identify issues and implement solutions across all manufacturing processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze current manufacturing processes, identifying any inefficiencies while gathering performance data
• Use tools and proven methodologies to uncover root causes of inefficiencies
• Develop process improvements with project plans to make recommendations for improved efficiency
• Work with managers, planners and leads to implement approved changes
• Track and document flows to measure improvements and project statuses
• Manage improvement initiative timelines, risks and forecasts
• Prepare and present reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for upper management

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or Operations Management preferred
• CI Analyst experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in CI methodologies such as Lean and SixSigma
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Understanding of Production Goals and the ability to connect efficiency improvement projects to those goals
  
  

WORK CONDITIONS

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs. It also often requires pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs. and working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels.
