Work Hours: 40 hrs per week (M-F)



Position Summary

The role is responsible for delivering patient-centered, specialized nursing care across the continuum, using an interprofessional approach to treatment, research, education, and advocacy. The nurse coordinates care for assigned patients during each shift to support positive clinical outcomes, while providing direction to team members to ensure quality, safety, and excellence.

This position delivers evidence-based care in alignment with Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital policies, procedures, and protocols, and works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. The nurse actively supports departmental and hospital safety standards, promotes quality improvement initiatives, and practices responsible, cost-effective use of resources.

Additional responsibilities include completing all annual requirements and competencies, participating in the performance appraisal process, and consistently demonstrating the organization's core values.



Requirements:



  • Baccalaureate degree, in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing required
  • Registered Nurse (RN) Required. Florida State or Compact License required
  • At least 5 years RN experience
  • BLS certification provided by AHA, other certifications as required by home department. All credentials must be maintained with active status.
  • Nursing Certification preferred

Salary Range: Minimum 37.22/hour - Maximum 57.70/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
