Position Summary
The Center for Native American Health (CNAH) is seeking ahighly motivated, enthusiastic, and team-oriented Native American undergraduate studentto join our dedicated outreach and recruitment team. The Program Assistant plays akey role in supporting initiatives related to CNAH's student development and tribal workforce program. This position emphasizesdata collection, activity coordination, recordkeeping, and spreadsheet development, while also contributing to student recruitment, retention, and outreach efforts. In this position you will work closely with CNAH's Education and Engagement Manager, as well as the broader CNAH team, to implement strategies, monitor progress, and generate reports. Key Responsibilities:
- Student Services Coordination:Coordinate with Education and Engagement Manager activities, resources, events, and activities to support Native American students in health-related degree programs.
- Outreach Material and Social Media Content Support: Create outreach materials (flyers, etc.); create, post, and monitor social media content
- Recordkeeping and Spreadsheet Development:Maintain accurate records of program activities and outcomes; develop and manage spreadsheets to track program metrics and progress; generate required reports.
- Additional Duties:Provide technical and logistical support for CNAH activities, meetings, and events. Participate in required trainings. Perform other duties as assigned, which may vary in complexity and required skills.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Federal Work Study eligible
- Enrolled in a federally recognized Tribe, Pueblo, or Nation
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Prior experience working with or knowledge of Native American communities
- Existing knowledge of or a strong interest in learning about student recruitment and development
