Work Schedule: This is a full-time, position scheduled to work Monday through Friday, with core hours between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Applicants hired into this position will work hybrid coming onsite regularly at 7974 UW Health Ct, Middleton, WI and other UW Health locations. We are seeking a Manager, Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to:
- Provide leadership and oversight of the activities of APRNs and PAs within areas of specialty.
- Directly supervise and professionally develop other APP leaders (supervisors) in areas of specialty and develop teams, strategies and processes to reach strategic organization goals.
- Work collaboratively with others to develop, implement and manage clinical, financial, and operational goals with measurable outcomes, strategies, initiatives, and programs aligned with UW Health's vision, missions, and values.
- Continually assesses all services, identifies problems, and utilizes data, including trends and best practices, to propose innovative approaches/solutions.
- Manage complex interdepartmental and interdisciplinary relationships to assure collaboration through cross-functional leadership including operations, clinical academic department physicians, and administrative leaders to coordinate the effective/efficient activities of the APRNs and PAs within the area of responsibility.
- Devote approximately 80% of time to administrative duties and 20% to maintaining a clinical practice within their specialty area, in alignment with the NP/PA/CNM job description.

Qualifications
- Master's Degree or Doctoral degree from accredited Nursing Program Required or
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree from accredited PA Program Required
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related field Preferred
Work Experience
- 1 year of experience providing leadership to a clinical or provider workforce Required
- Experience in a large academic or complex health program which includes multi-specialty and primary care advanced practice provider services and programs
Licenses & Certifications
- If Advanced Practice Registered Nurse:
* Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND * Active board certification in area of specialty Upon Hire Required or - If Physician Assistant:
* Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND * Active PA board certification Upon Hire Required - All Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Physician Assistant applicants must have:
* Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire Upon Hire Required
