The Village of Schaumburg is seeking a dynamic Web and Multimedia Communications Specialist to lead our digital presence and public outreach efforts. In this role, you'll shape how we connect with our community-online and beyond. JOB SUMMARY: This position reports to the Director of Communications and Outreach and plans, develops, and executes strategic public relations, communications, digital media, and website initiatives. Key responsibilities include developing multi-media content, managing and maintaining the Village's websites and microsites, conducting digital system and data analysis, and supporting public engagement and communications efforts. The position serves as the primary website manager and digital systems analyst, responsible for website accuracy, accessibility, technical troubleshooting, analytics reporting, and cross-department web liaison training. Additional responsibilities include managing social media content, producing fact sheets and e-newsletters, and supporting village wide communications strategies and campaigns. This position performs a wide range of complex, confidential, and routine communication and administrative duties. JOB DUTIES: 1. Oversees social media content creation, scheduling, monitoring, and responses while maintaining the department's editorial content calendar. QUALIFICATIONS: STARTING SALARY RANGE: $86,287.00 - $95,995.00annually dependent on qualifications.The salary range for this position is $86,287.00 -$125,117.00.
