Drupal Developer

We are seeking a skilled Drupal Developer to design, develop, and maintain web applications using the Drupal content management system. The ideal candidate will have experience with building custom modules and integrating third-party services to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. In this hands-on position, you will work collaboratively with federal employees and cross-functional teams to architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, and real-time systems.

* Develop and maintain Drupal-based websites and applications.

* Create custom modules, themes, and other components to meet project requirements.

* Integrate APIs and third-party services for extended functionality.

* Determine and recommend best designs based on customer business objectives, timelines and resource constraints.

* Configure and optimize Drupal for best performance.

* Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

* Collaborate with customers and other project members to deliver projects on time.

* Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure quality and security.

* Stay updated on Drupal best practices and emerging technologies.

* 4-6 years of solid experience building web applications in Drupal 8/9, PHP 7/8, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

* Proven experience with responsive and adaptive design and software design patterns.

* Experience building and consuming various APIs.

* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

* Solid knowledge of web development best practices related to web security and accessibility.

* Working experience with version/source control (Git or equivalent).

* Experience working in an agile and service-oriented environment.

* Experience with DevOps framework.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance. FDA experience and/or existing Public Trust clearance is ideal.

Apache Solr, Angular, Spring / Spring Boot, Java, Hibernate, JPA, Mongo or Postgres, Jetty, Microservices, Openshift, Gradle, Maven, Ant, Junit, Bitbucket, Cucumber, SonarQube, CI/CD pipeline, Jenkins, Git, CloudWatch, Jira, Confluence, Eclipse.

* Drupal 9/10 Certified Expert

* Cloud Engineer Certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps Certification)

Bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of prior relevant experience, or Master's degree with 3-5 years of prior relevant experience.
