HR Coordinator

The HR Coordinator provides administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented individual with strong multitasking skills and an interest in HR processes. It's a great opportunity for a college student or early-career professional looking to gain experience in human resources.

The general pay scale for this position at WVCI is $22.00-$25.00. The actual hiring rate is dependent on many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, education, job/position responsibilities, location, work performance, etc.

Employment Type: Part Time, 20 hours/Week (0.5 FTE)

Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Perform general office duties including filing, data entry, and document management.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Assist with meetings and HR-related events.
  • Policy Assistance: Help maintain and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Auditing & Compliance: Support HR audits and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Employee Support: Respond to basic employee inquiries and direct them to appropriate resources.
  • Project Assistance: Collaborate on HR initiatives and special projects as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Flexible and willing to learn new processes and systems.
  • Previous experience in administrative roles is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior administrative experience required.
