Position Summary: Job Responsibilities: Research Support: Facilitate collection, organization, and tracking of SCN-related data, including HRSN screenings, service referrals, and Medicaid claims extracts from disparate data sources. Assist with reviewing project documentation and supporting data cleaning protocols. Follow project procedures regarding handling of screening data, partner submissions, and administrative files. Assist with preparing status reports, data summaries and conducting follow-up tasks as appropriate, including communicating with stakeholders regarding data needs or discrepancies. Update, maintain, and organize project databases and shared records, ensuring security of all project files. Team Relationships: Establish and maintain positive relationships with project partners (internal and external). Demonstrate effective and professional communication with partners submitting data or requesting project guidance. Participate in SCN convenings or implementation sessions to support data coordination. Interact with partner organizations in a courteous and professional manner and assist in supporting engagement activities across internal and external teams. Data Management:Assist with data coding, data entry, data cleaning, and applying consistency checks to SCN and Medicaid-related datasets in Excel and other analytic software. Follow established routines for data cleaning and quality control. Compile data and assist in consolidating and preparing analytic files for presentation to state partners, internal leadership, and regulatory agencies. Assist with interpretation and presentation of results. Participate in trainings on data management, data analysis, and data presentation, including Excel, REDCap, and other relevant analytic software. Project Knowledge: Demonstrate mastery of SCN project protocols and manuals, including thorough knowledge of the HERO model, project rationale, screening and referral workflows, and partner roles. Participate in all team meetings and trainings and maintain awareness of changes in project procedures, data requirements, and reporting processes. Compliance: Complete all required trainings for participating in human subjectsrelated work (e.g., CITI training). Monitor any outward effects or issues related to data quality or partner compliance and report this to the Principal Investigator. Follow required project protocols and maintain organized logs, data files, and documentation. Assist with regulatory tasks, including preparation of materials for Institutional Review Board. Assist with institutional review board submissions as needed. Administrative Duties: Assist with administrative duties as needed, such as purchasing project supplies, scheduling meetings, making reminder communications, and preparing documents. Respond to requests in a timely manner, give/receive correct information, and encourage required dialogue and follow-through. Mission Alignment: Demonstrates knowledge of the organization and understands research standards and practices and incorporates them into the performance of duties. Conduct other project-related activities, as necessary. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $51,236.16 - $51,236.16 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
