Transportation Coordinator Opportunity @ Provo Canyon School

Provo Canyon School, with location in Springville and Orem, UT, is a 24/7 secure behavioral health treatment center for adolescents aged 13 through 17. We coach, teach and mentor students who have psychiatric disorders. Our goal is to provide treatment that results in positive changes, allowing these youth to return to their families and communities. To learn much more please visit www.provocanyon.com

Full-time: Mon - Fri from 9am - 5pm w/some weekend coverage, as needed.

Salary: $21.39 - $24.60 per hour based on education and experience.

Your position objectives include:

  • Provide clerical, technical, and general administrative support to the Transportation Department.
  • Promote the effective flow of information and manage office services in a manner that positively supports school operations.
  • Monitors all new student admissions and follows through to ensure new admit transportation responsibilities are completed.

  • Schedules all off-campus medical/dental appointments and distributes a daily schedule of appointments to Clinical Services.

  • Provides supervision to school Couriers. Schedules and coordinates off-campus transportation for students and other individuals as needed.


Qualifications

Your experience and qualifications will include:

  • High school diploma or GED REQUIRED
  • MUST be at least 21 years of age or older
  • MUST be able to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Strong verbal communication skills required internally and externally
  • Ability to type 60+ wpm and intermediate Excel and Word computer skills required
  • Hospital experience or experience in a health care setting preferred; but not required.
