Job Title: Assembly Technician II, Mechanical FLSA Status: Nonexempt Department: Supply Chain Reports to: Manager, Fleet Production & Service LTI GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE: The Assembly Technician II, Mechanical is responsible for assembly, parts ordering, troubleshooting, prototype building and testing in the shop and field. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Associates degree in a related field or a Technical degree Experience: Welding experience Licenses/Certifications: Maintain Mechanical Training - Technical Electric, Hydraulic, or Maintenance Obtain and maintain Railroad Certifications and CDL WORKING CONDITIONS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the role.
