Final Inspector

• We currently have an exciting possible Temp-to-Perm opportunity in the Cockeysville / Hunt Valley, MD area for a Final Inspector with experience using inspection tools/equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and volt meters.

• As a quality inspector in final inspection, you will work on a range of inspection and shipping tasks.
• Inspection preparation: Peeling shrink-wrap or stickers from cells.
• Conducting tests on battery performance (open current voltage measurements).
• Shipping: Prepare and package batteries for shipment according to company and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintaining quality control procedures and standards for battery production and shipment.
• Managing documentation related to quality control.
• Performing visual and physical inspections and measurements of batteries and battery components to detect defects or deviations from specifications.
• Supporting the investigation of quality incidents and contribute to root cause analysis.
• Coordinating with project management to ensure shipping schedule is understood and met.

• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and volt meters.
• Able to interpret visual standards.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering standards.
• Ability to navigate through basic spreadsheets and other computer programs.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. from the floor to chest height.
• Ability to spend long periods of time sitting or standing.

• Battery experience is a plus but not required.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a relevant field preferred.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder - "Must be able to meet ITAR requirements, including US citizenship or Green Card Holder to be considered for this role.
