Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Data Sustainment Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the quality, accuracy, and integrity of GoldenWolf's enterprise data assets. This position is responsible for managing data sustainment processes and ensuring that all data aligns with program objectives and business rules.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Applicants with a college degree, and possibly some internship experience, with up to three years of professional work experience. We will consider candidates who have just graduated from college or are in an internship. Overqualified applicants will not be considered for this role. We are specifically looking for Microsoft SQL Server stack and/or Azure Database services experience; However, this is not a requirement. Applicants with some basic knowledge of writing SQL scripting are preferred over database management skills. A solid skillset using Excel with basic formula creation for quality control is a must.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Execute data sustainment processes to ensure database accuracy and reliability.
  • Conduct inventory data integrity reviews, identifying and correcting data quality issues.
  • Provide remote data management and manipulation at the request of the client or internal stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute data sustainment processes to ensure database accuracy and reliability.
  • Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form and translate the technique/data accurately into a database.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with stakeholder business rules.
  • Analyze and modify data tables to enhance database accuracy.
  • Research and implement process improvement opportunities.
  • Filter and clean data across multiple systems while maintaining data integrity.
  • Coordinate with program leadership to prioritize business and information needs.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • College Degree preferred.
  • Two years' database management experience required.
  • Working experience with SQL queries and database management.
  • Experience with data quality assurance and validation processes.
