The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for managing maintenance technicians and staff across multiple working shifts, including hiring qualified personnel, providing performance feedback, and conducting top reviews as required. Qualified candidates must be able to work an on-site schedule at our Cresco, IA facility.

Role Responsibilities:

• Participates in and supports the Donaldson EHS Framework, shop safety inspections, enforcement of LOTO program and other OSHA regulations

• Develops short- and long-term range plans for preventative and predictive, facility, and machine maintenance to assure minimum downtime for production. Providing training to staff as needed.

• Effectively troubleshoots problems, performs root cause analysis, and seeks appropriate solutions to critical issues.

• Assists with maintenance work carried out by the maintenance technicians and provides them with necessary and efficient solutions.

• Responsible for managing maintenance technicians and staff on multiple working shifts, including hiring and training qualified personnel, providing performance feedback, and top grading them as required.

• Plans, schedules, and monitors maintenance and repair activities.

• Oversees requisition of parts and supplies and coordinates with other departments

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED

• 5+ years of manufacturing or maintenance experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree

• Proficient with industry standard software applications (e.g., MS Office, ERP, maintenance software)

• Demonstrated track record of successful supervisory experience

• Experience with application of structured problem-solving methodology (Fishbone, RCA)

• Project management experience, especially procurement of capital equipment

• Ability to work off-shifts, weekends & extended shifts as required (i.e., 10-12 hours

• Knowledge of control wiring, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, machining, PLC (Allen-Bradley preferred) and HVAC.

• Hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing, utilizing tools such as visual management, 6S, value stream mapping, cellular layout and standard work

• Certification as an electrician and/or maintenance technician preferred

• Demonstrated knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance of manufacturing equipment

• Ability to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously and shift priorities to meet business needs
