COORDINATOR, SHOWS AND EVENTS

POSITION SUMMARY
The Shows and Events Coordinator will drive the strategy, logistics and execution for both trade shows and broader customer activations for the DSV division. The role's scope includes identifying/prioritizing activation opportunities, developing targeted and specific strategies for the presentation of DSV's differentiated value proposition based upon the event, and all preparatory and post event engagement to maximize measurable ROI.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Research and prioritize both a short-term and long-term vision for establishing a shows and events portfolio.

  • Translate research and insights from ideation to tangible execution to ensure the DSV value proposition is clear, engaging and differentiated from competitors.

  • Develop budget recommendations and quantify/create business case(s) to establish ROI of proposed portfolio.

  • Lead planning and exceptional execution of high-impact events including mobilizing the necessary internal resources and experts.

  • Manage trade show logistics, including shipping, inventory, supplies, and vendor communication.

  • Maintain event calendars, deadlines, and task lists.

  • Assist with event-related communications, including content creation for event marketing, electronic correspondence, and posting approved content on social channels.

  • Act as the primary liaison with event organizers, vendors, and sales teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution.

  • Establish processes and protocols based upon events in the portfolio including curating the related materials (digital, physical, etc), run of show playbook(s), and both pre and post show work streams to fully benefit/maximize investment.

  • Ensure lead generation and insights are integrated into larger organizational governance for follow-up/closure.

  • Work closely with the Commercial team, Marketing, R&D, and Product Management on messaging, demos, and content.

  • Establish and track KPIs and ROI reporting regarding impact and efficacy of consumer activations and adjust work plans/engagements accordingly.

  • Continuously improve and optimize strategies including ability to rapidly adjust to learnings and industry evolution.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B marketing and/or consumer activation.

  • Strong project management and vendor negotiation skills.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Capability and passion to develop basic or better fluency of technical and product specifications of product portfolio.

  • Proficiency with event tools, social media and digital.

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to present to executives.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.

  • An analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to travel
