DESCRIPTION

Under supervision, serves as work leader for lock shop team; schedules daily work, instructs and coordinates work of skilled and semi-skilled trades-people involved in the locksmith trade. Develops and integrates master key systems for all facilities. Performs journey level work in the locksmith trade including but not limited to: installation and compliance of access control systems, door and door hardware repairs and replacements, layout of Master Key Systems, and electronic and manual data storage for key codes and master key system information. Performs all other duties assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must hold valid driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/ procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program.
  • Must have Locksmith Registration with the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs.
  • Previous directly related Locksmith experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the full range of locksmith duties.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Locksmith certification.
  • Experience in a large, complex healthcare organization.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $102,918 - $102,918 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $49.29 - $49.29

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
