Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer with 5+ years of experience in the Eastern or Central time zone to support the ongoing development and optimization of our Salesforce ecosystem. This role focuses on enhancing Service Cloud capabilities, including Case Management, Omni-Channel, Knowledge, and Live Agent/Chat functionality. The ideal candidate will deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that improve both agent efficiency and customer experience. This position collaborates closely with Product, Operations, Engineering, Mobile, UI, Agentforce, and other cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Triggers, and SOQL/SOSL.
  • Lead development efforts across Service Cloud, including:
    • Case Management automation and workflow enhancements
    • Omni-Channel routing, presence configurations, and Supervisor tools
    • Knowledge article lifecycle management and search tuning
    • Live Agent/Chat and Messaging configurations
  • Collaborate with Mobile, UI, Agentforce, and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, integrated solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical designs.
  • Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, and middleware.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause analysis and remediation.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and support sprint planning, estimation, and release readiness.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation including designs, data flows, and architecture.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in medium-to-large org environments.
  • Strong expertise in Service Cloud, including:
    • Case Management
    • Omni-Channel routing and configurations
    • Knowledge management (article types, visibility, search tuning)
    • Live Agent/Chat and Messaging
  • Advanced technical proficiency with:
    • Apex (classes, triggers, batch, schedulable)
    • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
    • Flows and declarative automation
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns (REST, SOAP, platform events).
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Required Certifications

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Agentforce (AI bots, agent assistance, automated classification/routing).
  • Copado DevOps experience (pipelines, deployments, version control).
  • Experience with Entitlements, Milestones, or Field Service.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules).
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and Git-based version control.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry.

Preferred Certifications

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
  • Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist
  • Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant

The base salary range for this position is$110,000 - $125,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2026.Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
