Position Description

This job classification is a vital role in supporting UniSource Energy Services customer accounts and field operations. This position ensures safe, efficient, and professional service delivery by promoting positive customer experience in accordance with Company practices and procedures.

Position-Related Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with field teams, internal departments, and customers.
  • Handle customer inquiries, including assisting with ACC complaints.
  • Coordinate and execute a wide range of field activities, including scheduling, dispatching, and timely completion of field work.
  • Dispatch emergency calls promptly with precise, accurate information, and collaborate effectively with local first responder agencies.
  • Investigate irregular usage patterns, address access issues, and ensure timely follow-up actions.
  • Ensure accurate data entry in the customer care and billing system.
  • Accurately perform quality assurance and records management functions.
  • Prepare routes into the field collection system and generate statistical reports timely.
  • Promote a positive team environment and foster collaboration across departments.
  • Lead by example and always represent the company professionally.
  • Provide services to affiliates of the company subject to the U.S. Energy Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Competent problem solving, resolving conflicts, and multitask while prioritizing work.
  • Skilled oral and written communication, effectively conveying complex information.
  • Proficiency in ten-key, keyboarding, and PC applications (CIS, MS Office Suite).
  • Knowledge of UniSource Energy Services tariffs, rules, and regulations.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Annual training and adherence to PHMSA (Pipeline Hazardous Material Safety Administration) on handling gas emergencies required.

  • All employees are expected and required to adhere to the Company Code of Ethics and Principals of Conduct.

Movement from one step to the next in either of the CSR or CSR II classifications will be based upon both time and proven proficiency.

Salary Zone: CF (I), CE (II) $22.49 + DOE
