Description
Job Summary: The Associate Project Manager plays a vital role in supporting the planning, execution, and successful delivery of small-scale projects. This position works closely with project managers to ensure project scopes are well-defined, appropriately resourced, and completed on schedule, in alignment with customer expectations and internal standards. Key responsibilities include maintaining and updating the project tracker in collaboration with cross-functional teams. This tracker serves as the primary reference for project status, milestones, and deliverables. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Areas of Responsibilities:
- Project Planning
- Support the development of small project plans, including scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource needs
- Coordinate internal reviews and approvals of project documentation
- Ensure alignment between project teams and customer expectations
- Maintain version control and documentation of small projects
- Deliver finalized project package to customers
- Project Execution and Delivery
- Monitor project progress against commitments and timelines
- Track milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure timely execution
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and customers
- Assist in managing scope changes and ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
- Support project closeout activities, including final deliverable reviews and customer sign-off.
- Project Support
- Maintain project documentation, including schedules, action logs, and status reports.
- Escalate risks and issues to senior project managers as needed.
- Participate in customer meetings and support relationship management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in a client-facing role.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with small projects or contractual project documentation.
- Exposure to cross-functional teams and customer-facing environments.
