Clinical Lab Scientist Specialist CLINICAL LAB Full Time 87062BR Job Summary The Clinical Scientist Specialist oversees workflow of the lab to ensure turn-around times are met; Troubleshoots or investigates problems with malfunctioning analyzers and procedures; Aids in the development of new procedures or modify existing procedures under the direction of a project leader; Performs lab compliance procedures including calibration and calibration verification of assays; Establish and maintain QC materials and data; Assists in training of Clinical Laboratory Scientists, Clinical Laboratory Scientist trainees, limited license trainees, Hospital Laboratory Technicians, residents, and fellows; Works as a bench CLS as needed. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $72.24 - $90.01 (Hourly Rate).
