AI Business Analyst

About the Role


The AI Business Analyst will play a key role in FinThrive's AI and automation initiatives by analyzing operational processes, identifying opportunities for AI enablement, and supporting the implementation of scalable solutions. This mid-level role works closely with business and technical teams to document requirements, map workflows, and ensure successful deployment of AI and automation projects that improve productivity and deliver measurable ROI.



What you will do



  • Evaluate internal business processes for AI and automation opportunities
  • Conduct business process analysis, mapping sessions, and feasibility studies
  • Collaborate with process owners to define future-state, AI-driven workflows
  • Document requirements, process steps, and exception handling logic
  • Work with technical teams to clarify AI models, automation rules, and system needs
  • Support testing, deployment, and post go-live validation of AI/automation solutions
  • Document and communicate ROI from AI and automation initiatives
  • Participate in change management, enhancement documentation, and troubleshooting



What you will bring



  • 2-4 years of experience as a business analyst, project coordinator, or process analyst (preferably in healthcare, tech, or operations)
  • Hands-on exposure to AI and automation technologies (RPA, machine learning, intelligent document processing) is preferred
  • Experience documenting business processes and requirements
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, information systems, or related field
  • Travel required: Estimated at 10%



What we would like to see



  • Experience with healthcare operations or healthcare technology
  • Familiarity with AI/automation platforms (e.g., UIPath, Azure AI, AWS AI)
  • Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, Tableau, etc.)
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations (HIPAA, etc.)
