TITLE: Warehouse Inventory Associate LOCATION: Houston, TX POSITION REPORTS TO: Distribution Center Manager, Operations SCHEDULE: Hours TBD by manager. Nights, weekends and overtime periodically. COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience, position and location RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform physical inventory cycle counts * Responsible for validating incoming goods and recording documentation * Inspect, verify, and organize stock throughout the warehouse * Keep data integrity organized and updated * Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with established safety procedures and practices * Investigate cycle count variances and resolve issues * Responsible for recording and tracking all documents relating to the physical inventories * Report on variances and their root causes, focusing on process improvement * Responsible for tank inventory and yard trailer inventory; daily reconciliation * Data entry; manual inventory counts into SAP * Communicate with terminals, hubs, supply chain and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies * Analyze and record gains, losses * Provide support for yearly audit * Other tasks as assigned by manager BASIC REQUIREMENTS * Must have warehouse inventory related experience * Must be local (live within 60 miles) * Advanced mathematical skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Excellent organizational and analytical skills * High attention to detail * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including spelling and grammar * Valid driver's license, and a good driving record * Courteous and professional demeanor * Ability to lift heavy objects (minimum 15 lbs.) * Must be able to work overtime, nights, weekends * Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions PREFERRED * SAP Experience * Experience in the Oil and Gas industry * 1 year inventory experience Sun Coast Resources, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
