Understanding of multiple related areas with some expertise in relevant subject matter. Proactively identifies areas of analysis needed. May present independently to leadership. Develops, recommends and ensures completion of solutions to identified issues. May lead projects and/or team on a consistent basis.
Collects, analyzes, and presents workforce and experience data. Develops dashboards and regular reporting that offers actionable analysis. Collaborates with Leaders and other business partners on requirements of the areas they support and works to develop solutions. Works with business leaders on workforce and experience analysis projects such as analysis of key metrics to identify correlations, costs and potential interventions. Provides analysis to support the development of associated strategies. Develops measures to monitor impact of strategic projects and analyze outcomes. Takes a primary role in the administration and configuration of HR and related System projects. Provides HR System and business process support across Mercy via partnership with departments including, but not limited to, Operations, Payroll, Benefits, Leave Administration, Pension, Recruitment, TDO, MTS, and Finance. Takes a primary role in the administration and configuration of HR and related System projects. Seen as a subject matter expert in multiple aspects of HRS support. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Position Details: Education required: BS degree required or equivalent experience; Minimum 5 years experience Experience required: 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: HR Analytics, Finance/Accounting Analytics, HR Operations, HR Shared Services (HRIS). Education preferred: Bachelors degree in human resources, business, finance, information technology or other analytical field highly preferred. Other skills and knowledge: Strong analytical skills Broad-based understanding of the core business Strong background in data extraction, manipulation of raw data, data relationships, data mining, ad-hoc analysis and metrics presentations Advanced to expert level abilities in data analysis software and tools like SQL, Excel, Access, or Oracle Business Objects. Working knowledge of financial data and accounting concepts. Results-oriented, with a high bias for action and a strong ownership of accountability. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service focus. Robust sense of personal judgment with the capacity to handle confidential information and escalate issues effectively. Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from leader to accomplish objectives and to meet assigned deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of co-workers and management to maximize performance. Technical/analytical skills, continuous learning, innovation, and strong work standards/ethics is also required. Why Mercy?
