Position Responsibilities


  • Design and implement production ML systems for enterprise SaaS applications serving government contracting, architecture & engineering, and construction industries
  • Build end-to-end ML pipelines on cloud infrastructure (Oracle Cloud/AWS/Azure), from data ingestion through model deployment and monitoring
  • Fine-tune large language models using QLoRA/LoRA techniques on domain-specific datasets; develop and deploy specialized AI agents for compliance, document processing, and predictive analytics
  • Architect MLOps infrastructure including CI/CD pipelines for models, A/B testing frameworks, model monitoring, and automated retraining systems
  • Lead technical initiatives across data science and engineering teams; establish ML best practices and guide architecture decisions
  • Deploy models at scale using Kubernetes, containerization, and microservices patterns; ensure sub-second latency for production APIs consumed by multiple product teams
  • Collaborate with product and engineering to translate business requirements into technical ML solutions; work with cross-functional teams on integration patterns
  • Implement RAG systems using vector databases for retrieval-augmented generation; build semantic search and document intelligence capabilities

Qualifications


  • 5+ years of ML/AI experience with proven track record deploying production ML systems; experience in enterprise SaaS or regulated industries preferred
  • Deep learning expertise: Hands-on experience with PyTorch/TensorFlow, transformer architectures, LLM fine-tuning, and deploying models in production
  • Programming proficiency: Expert Python; strong software engineering skills including design patterns, testing, and code quality practices
  • Cloud ML platforms: Experience with cloud ML services (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Google Vertex AI, or Oracle Cloud); Kubernetes, Docker
  • ML frameworks and tools: MLflow, LangChain, AutoGen, or similar agent frameworks; experience with vector databases for semantic search
  • MLOps practices: CI/CD for ML, model monitoring, drift detection, A/B testing, and production model lifecycle management
  • Data engineering fundamentals: Understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT, streaming (Kafka), and data quality practices
  • Bonus: Experience with compliance-heavy industries (government, healthcare, finance); understanding of FAR/DFARS, DCAA, or similar regulations
  • Education: MS/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field preferred; BS with equivalent experience considered

Compensation Information

The U.S. salary range for this position is $68500.00 - $119750.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
