Essential Functions: Responsible for janitorial duties in large manufacturing facility (400 employees) including: Emptying trash Replacing carpets and vacuuming carpets Sweeping, mopping and scrubbing production office floor Dusting offices Cleaning sinks and stainless steel doors Replenishing soap and paper towels Cleaning footbaths Other duties as assigned by manager Special Requirements: Support SQF by maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner. Support biosecurity and GMP measures. Maintaining the cleaning and sanitation programs Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action Education and Experience: GED or High School Diploma. Able to lift up to 50lbs Able to use stairs frequently Able to follow written instructions and complete all sanitation documentation with accuracy Strong interpersonal skills Physical Requirements: Standing: Long periods (a minimum of 12 hours) Sitting: Occasionally for short periods Walking: Long periods Bending: Frequently Lifting: Heavy (50+ lbs) occasionally Carrying: Heavy (40-60 lbs) occasionally Pushing/Pulling: under 75 lbs without assistance frequently Factory environment Varying noise and heat levels. Responsibilities allow occasional opportunity for varying work routine Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.
